We Are Handsome, an Australian brand inspired by the blithe and tranquility of the childhoods of Indhra Chagoury and Jeremy Jules Somers, spawned in the summer of 2009.

Dulled tones and bold colors and images are splashed across all areas of this formfitting swimwear. These items are quite the statement piece, whether worn as actual swimwear or as a leotard with skinny pants.

Empty Your Closet, Open Your Wallet

Last week, over a second-hand shopping flop, a friend of mine and I discussed the frustration we had with selling/consigning no-longer wanted items in our closet. We both have a mix of designer, vintage and random boutique in LES clothing, which when added up, makes our net-worth skyrocket.

Unfortunately for us, and our wallets, selling our pricey frocks, rocks and socks (probably not socks)  doesn't help us afford a new bag unless we shopped at Target. We exchanged strategies and some tried and true moments and decided that selling may not really be worth it anymore.

The Fifth Day of May

Who even calls it that these days? Spanish speaking or not, everyone north and south of the border refers to this Mexican celebration as Cinco De Mayo.

Although many confuse this day as Mexico's Independence day (for those of you margarita drinking, Mexican flag waving, lime squeezing party goers screaming "¡feliz cumpleaños!", you've got it all confused) it is in actuality the celebration of the Mexican victory over French forces in 1862.
 

So, grab a croissant cerveza, don your brightest of colors, and have yourself a celebration. Ole! Check it:
